Looking for the spec to set the float level. What is the measurement from where to where. Set it the way the manual said for my 2005 KTM 400 EXC and got no fuel. Installed a JD Jet kit and thought that the float was hi so adjusted it. The bike was running rich so felt the float level was wrong
How much gas should be in the float bowl. I can check the level with a clear hose attached to the float drain. Thanks for your assistance.

9 mm. I don't think the clear hose set-up is going to tell you very much. Here is an article to help you. (http://www.carbparts.com/keihin/needles_tuning/jetting_your_carb.htm)
1) Correct Float Height
Before changing any jetting parts, check the carburetor floats for correct height. Measure the height from the bottom of the float to the Throttle Opening. carburetor-body gasket surface. Correct height can be found on the chart. When checking the float height, the float should be resting, but not depressing, the spring-loaded float valve pin. This can be done by tilting the carburetor until the float tab just makes contact with the valve pin. If adjustment is needed, bend the metal tab on the float arm until correct height is obtained.--see example #1
