What you can expect from the C or Easy Loop

Forest Service Roads some active some not
Pavement
Soft Gravel Sections
Lots of Potholes and Puddles
Small Cross Ditches
One slippery mud hole around a gate (dont follow the guy in front of you too close)
Studs will be required if it is snowing

The route is fine for all types of Plated Dual Sport Bikes

Watch out for other traffic Cars Trucks, Quads, Other Bikes, but worst will be the B riders as they will be entering and exiting the main route for the 1st 12 kms then turning around

Yes you need a plate and insurance as you will be riding the road
Yes you need a BCORMA Trail Pass, this is what helps keep this area open (ICBC and the BC government give us no money.)

There will be a Breakfast and a Lunch both have a small charge and the money goes to charity

Finally be prepared to get dirty and have a good time

"Studs will be required if it is snowing" :hr:

Usually I would take this as humor. This year, with Tom, maybe not...

It was 10c in Chilliwack today and all the snow at the top of the mountain will be melted before next sunday.

If there are any riders who put the noob in Spring Newbie Ride, I am willing to provide help.

Yup it's time for the TeamGrizzly.ca's De-Noobification School. It's free. (And worth every cent.)

Just look for the tan WeeStrom, or me in my snazzy matching jacket.

Seriously I've done this ride before and I'm willing to help out new riders just for a change of pace.

What kind of fuel range will we need for the C loop?

(sorry if I missed it posted elsewhere).

Thanks,

Cord

Hey Cord!
It's about a three hour ride if it's more or less the same route as always. I'm guessing probably 150kms-ish...but don't quote me on that ;).

I don't even fill my tank...er gas tank. Gas is pretty easy to find on route too (KLR's...I mean there are gas stations).
You're welcome to tag with us if you like.

Hi Cord

C Route is about 100km. There are two gas stations along the way. You must be plated and insured as part of the C route is on pavement.
