It was a HOT day:ted:

We maybe should have headed out earlier than 11am, since that was when it really started to heat up. Lower down it was prety dusty but the route we took was a blast. The ride started at 1200 feet and we rode up to the lookout at Isobel lake at 3500feet(weigh point 05), and then to Nobel lake (06) that is also at 3500feet.

This was a 60km loop .

There was a revene between #08 and #10 that even with only 1/4 tank of fuel a KLR would have a problem coming down:D....well there were many steep loose gullies like this.

My son came down this one after I did then John on the new crf450x then Cert on the drz250. This was a steeeeep sucka! All the DR650 did was speed up on the way down:hr:

Awesome pics, beautiful country. No slimy wet roots like we get down here in the rainforest either.
