I got my hand on a "pipe bender" and a "welder" and I would like to build my own nerf bard for a KLR650.

Does anyone know the dimensions?

Does anyone has diagram or something or something similar?

I know it is too much to ask, but if someone has one, I'd like to meet you take some measurements, etc.

What is a nerf bar? I am somewhat familiar with the nerf football, but it's probably a safe bet that they are not related in any way.

Cheers:hb:

Hmmmm, o.k. I went to the online etymological dictionary at http://www.etymonline.comand got the followingorigins of the word nerf:

c.1374, nerf "sinew, tendon," from M.L. nervus "nerve," from L. nervus "sinew, tendon," metathesis of pre-L. *neuros, from PIE *(s)neu- (cf. Skt. snavan- "band, sinew," Arm. neard "sinew," Gk. neuron "sinew, tendon," in Galen "nerve"). Sense of "fibers that convey impulses between the brain and the body" is from 1606. Fig. sense of "feeling, courage" is first attested 1601; that of "courage, boldness" is from 1809; "impudence, cheek" is 1887. Nerves "nervousness" is attested from 1839; to get on someone's nerves is from 1903. War of nerves "psychological warfare" is from 1940. Nervy "full of courage" is from 1882.
I guess I can relate. I started riding a with a little more "courage, boldness" once I got my rad and pump guards on:tup:.
