didnt know where to post this as there is no kootenays section (can i request this to be add o mighty moderator?).

i am pretty new to DS'ing...got my DRZ400 this year and I live in the west kootenays (between nelson and castlegar) where DS options are endless. i have met a few other riders in the area but would like to hook up with others here too. i know its nearing the end of the season but it would be great to get a few more rides in or at least connect with others for next year. who ever is game, PM or email me at cgray@selkirk.ca.

Well I am officially now a dual sport rider having bought a new to me 1990 DR650 !!!

It is in San Francisco, has 5000 miles on it, is pristine and I got it for under $1500 Cdn !!!! :hb:

Also good news is the seller is known to me at SportTouring.net and will store the bike till I can fly in in the spring and ride her home to Castlegar.

So one more confirmed rider in the Kootenays ... woo hoo ....
