Good riding east of Williams Lake

I know there's good riding west of Williams Lake...

Looking for local rider willing to share some secrets about places east of Williams Lake. Quesnel River area, Quesnel mountains - not sure if there is a backway into Barkerville. Plotting a ride this summer with a buddy from Prince George and this area keeps coming up as neither of us have really been in that part of the province. I know the area was part of the goldrush era. Spent a lot of time in Williams Lake on business a few years back and really like the area. Fishing and free camping spots are also high on the list. Is there gas availble out in Horsefly?

Yes there is gas in Horsefly. There is a nice backroad that goes from Horsefly to Likely.
We were riding in this area on the "Coles backroads adventures" a few years ago. You should be able to find more pictures of this ride in the forum if you look around a bit.
