My Husky TE610

I finally had a chance to give my new bike a shake down today and all I can say is WOW! I can't believe the difference between it and my other bike. I now have suspension and power galore. I am still breaking it in, so can't go over the 5500 rpm level yet and it was still loads of fun. It is quite a diferent machine than my suzuki and judging by the way it threw me over the handlebars I say the turning radius is a little bit bigger than the DRZ and the brakes work exceptionally well. I tried some hill climbing and it didn't disappoint, just powered up that hill with every indication if I wanted faster/more it have it to give. Now I'll go tweak it a bit ... put on a front fender brace and raise the handlebars to my liking and this'll be my dream bike.

Congrats on the new bike!!!:clap: It was hard enough to keep up to you on a DRZ, I can't imagine how much faster the Husky will be! We need pictures!

I'll get pictures as soon as I have it all back together again. I read the manual wrong it actually says break it in. I didn't see the in part so when I went over the bars I took the front and rear fenders with it. (Don't ask how!)

Glad to hear you finally got the new machine.Sounds like your break in style is about right to me. Always nice to get the first scratch out of the way early. Then you can just get on with ageing it gracelessly!

Baja salt and bastardization projects have removedthe sheen from myHusky. I love it! See you out there soon.

i got my first crash on the husky before i even got it home. hit a huge dip in the road near the snow tunnels and it fell over in the back of the truck doing 120km. just some scratched plastic. glad i got the first crash out of the way early too.
