Ended the day in Rossland.

Day 3

Went offroad with my hosts in Rossland. Two breakdowns(stuck float and a wobbley starter soleniod plug - both fixed on the trail)and only a few falls. Don't have any pictures as I didn't want to risk my camera to my unique riding style. :)Had a whole lot of fun and I must have had a good timebecause I was completely beat at the end of the day.

Day 4

Got taken for a ride. And what a ride it was. :DNorth on hwy 6 and east on Lemon Ck FSR then out on 6 mile.

http://www.dualsportbc.com/photogallery/data/720/273100_1093-med.JPG (http://www.dualsportbc.com/photogallery/showphoto.php?photo=12281&size=big&sort=1&cat=500) http://www.dualsportbc.com/photogallery/data/720/273100_1095-med.JPG (http://www.dualsportbc.com/photogallery/showphoto.php?photo=12270&size=big&sort=1&cat=500)

Took the boat from Balfor to Kooteny Bay and the ride got even better. We were first off the ferry andwent alonga twisty lake side road without any traffic to speak of for about 70km. We may have even exceeded the speed limit:tup:

Paused for a break at Kooteny Pass summit

And back to Rossland.

Day 5

The locals "Took me for Ride" yup, off road. It was, well, a challange. But, I survived and my riding took a change for the better in a big way. I'm gald my hosts were as patient as they were. See the thread http://www.dualsportbc.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=6428&forum_id=56for the sorid details

Day 6

Was a tourist in Rossland followed by a short trip to Northport. Good thing because I really needed a break.

Day 7

Had to go home, Took State Route 20, this is a must ride but keep a look out deer - stupid things. I used to thinkthey were harmless littlebambisbut, nowI ride a motorcycle and I think we should eat them. Yup, every last one of the damn things.

Stopped on Sherman pass to warm up. I wasused to and dressed for the 28-32 degree days we'd been having, not the 3 degrees it was - burr

Next pause was Wasington Pass in the North Cascades National Park. This is another "must ride"

Great journey. Everytime I think it's time to sell the KLR, it's things like this that prove how versitle of a bike it is and how it suits my riding style to a T.
