Hey guys, I just bought my girlfriend a ttr125L. She's never ridden the bike or any bike for that matter so she'll have a little bit of a learning curve to deal with. I'm hoping someone will have some good trail recommendations where I can take her, nice and easy with a destination.

Any help would be really appreciated, I'd hate for her to have a bad time out and want to get rid of the bike...

Thanks !!

Haha, I guess that would help. I'm in Courtenay, She's 24 and rides on the back of my streetbike all the time.....

There is a nice little forest off Huband Rd. It has easy trails that a truck can do as well, and a pit to practice in. Start with the pit so that you can watch her and give her tips.

There are two ways to enter this area. One is off Huband Rd. Drive till you see the pit just before the road ends in a T-junction.

The other way is to go in at the end of Philmonte Rd.

Around Comox lake is nice but the logging are destroying everything out there.

Thanks for the replys guys! We tried out Comox Coal hills area and such. Haven't been out there in 8 or so years, it sure has changed! I miss that nice little table top in the pit.

I think we're going to try out Huband area this weekend, thanks for the suggestion@!

Any other areas that come to mind would really be appreciated! I was sorely dissapointed with the state of comox lake area and what the logging has done to the trails...

Oyster River trails are nice too. I will be riding there Saturday, 11 April and maybe Monday too.

I hope people will meet up with me at Home Depot at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
