Just wanted to share my collection of videos from the 2009 riding season.

A mix of dsbc rides (Orca, spring newbie, deadzone), mcnutt single-track clips, a few wipeouts, and a 2-part series chronicling a 2-day ride from Langley-Apex Mnt and back, mostly offroad.

here's the link: http://www.vimeo.com/user1457561/videos

all the best of the season, folks. :hb:

Thanks, Strongleftleg, great pics. Now that you've had some time with it how do you like the Serow?

Hey Farp,

The Serow is a great little bike when you use it for it's intended purpose. On long rides I find I start to feel cramped due to the seat, bars, footpegs being close together. The only real downfall of the bike is the suspension, especially the forks. It would be capable of a lot more with better suspenders. My wife likes it as well, its her first bike and she's doing great! (Got her learners.)

Awesome vids, great to see.
Couple of questions:
Is Vimeo better than Youtube?
What kind of helmet cam do you have?
I just got a GoPro Here Wide and have it mounted on the top of my helmet just on the visor.
OK one more question...what do you use for editing?
Thanks!!

I like Vimeo more, my videos upload to a better quality on it than youtube.

Helmet cam: Vio Pov1. I also use a canon point and shoot for a lot of the video.

I edit with the basic Windows Movie Maker program that is usually pre-loaded on any PC. I've pretty much maxed out the potential of Window movie maker. I have downloaded some trial versions of more serious editing software, but they are so complicated, I barely get my head around them before the free trial ends. If I was ever to get serious about video editing it seems a Mac is the way to go.
