Greeting all -
My wife and I just moved to Summerland about a year ago, and I picked up my first on/off road bike about a month ago...no one to ride with :(.
Anyone willing to ride with a novice?
Let me know - anytime after work/weekends.

keep your eyes open for rides in the okanagan in the spring. there is some great riding in summerland and penticton so do some exploring and come to kelowna for some rides.

Slick! Good question....I have April 1st in my mind for whatever reason. With this weather though, I may have to reconsider.

Yeah, Like Mark I plated in late February. The plan was to ride to work for March with the occasional foray into the hills... Unfortunately I went snowboarding in Revelstoke on Feb 26 and separated my shoulder. 3rd Degree acromioclavicular separation. I'm on the mend, but probably won't be able to get back on the bike for another couple weeks. Probably be May before I can ride off road. Since I will be building strength in my shoulder this spring I'm totally down for riding with some new riders! Not that my one year of riding amounts to much skill... I make up for my lack of riding ability with over-exuberance!
Shoot me a PM with your contact details, I like riding down in that area around Summerland. Might even be able to show you a couple of nice riding areas.

That sucks Lee...damn. I finally got the new 450 to start ( PO was a useless gitt) and took it out this past weekend. Pulls a bit more than my 400 did, but I need to toss on a 13/52 combo for the woods as I found the 15-45 stock combo way high ( better highway mind you)

Count me in...hopefully something will come together in the OK. I saw the link for the noob ride in Chilliwack....I'd love to go, but it's on a Sunday.
Keep me posted. If anyone wants to ride, large group/small group, I'm game.
Cheers -
Riding solo....

Hey Im new to off road and Summerland as well, we should go explore our back yard a bit. Im at the Fest-of-ale this weekend but maybe an evening ride on Thurdays would work - could meet at the Beanery maybe around 4:30-5pm?

Hey Mike,
I'm a novice as well and would be up for a ride off-pavement, as long as it's not overly technical. Send me an email.
