Neat idea. but this could be very dangerous

Just like the 4x4 world, you can winch yourself into way more trouble.

an extra 8+ lbs, is a lot of weight to pull yourself 15-25 feet, ride with a buddy would be easier and safer

Im sure someone will buy this and we can see it in action

I think a better demonstration of the winch's capabilities would've been to throw a 450lb bike off the side of a steep single track and try to haul it back up to the trail.... 2 feet off the trail downhill could be as bad as at the bottom of the ravine if you can't drag it up yourself....

Excellent point. Now, if only we knew someone who had such a bike and could shoot/edit such a video.

It would MOUNT solid right under my headlight!!! I've often thought that a winch would be an excellent option when pulling the Pig out of the mud.Only 8 more pounds I'd still be way under GS or KLR weight...I want one!

Guess you need that if you own a 500 lb + anchor....

Well, I already have the footage of what happens when you DON'T have that winch....

You sit and wait for someone to come back...

I found another mechanic he said he will do my bike for $120, he said hes done it before to a bike, but he said he broke only one light out of all of them, so i might have faith in him in handling my sexy beast. etsnet, unless if u can come nearby my house and do it for me and i pay you $50, or i will just let the guy do it for $120, im gonna try and haggle the price down from the guy too. Thnx
