He already has the red on

    Ride Red Ride Husky

You know he will be leaving you behind on the trails sooner than later.

FWIW, a yamaha PW50 is the best starter bike ever (for little ones)

it might not fit for as long as a z50/xr50/crf50/ttr50 would, but it's so small that they can ride it with confidence and not scare themselves.

I've had a couple friends whose 5-7 YO kids had been willing to ride bigger bikes, but were very hesitant and nervous... put them on our PW and they were right at home, building skills and confidence so much faster than they had on the bigger 3 speed kidbikes

the throttle stop is key for little folks, they don't always understand that the throttle isn't an on/off switch, so if you can govern their desire to 'pin it', you'll end up with a safer rider (and a happier mom)

Thanks for the advise gladly. I am really looking forward to the day I can get him on something with a motor. An osset would be cool, but then I would need to buy myself an electric bike as well so we can make a course in the back yard
