Okanagon Similkameen Riders This Includes Princeton and Tulameen

OK Dualsport Guys its time to share your tracks

    Some Background First
Here is a link to the RDOS area http://maps.google.ca/maps/ms?msa=0&...da9c6e7e83ac94

The Regional District of Okanagon Similkameen are creating a Master Trail Plan. RDOS has hired a company, Cascade Environmental to do a study on the area usage. Up to three weeks ago there were not any representatives on the working group that represented Off Road Vehicle users also know as Summer Motorised. So far you guys have done a stellar job of getting the message out that we exist, by answering the on line questions. A link to the Survey if you haven't filled it out yet **its important ***** http://cerg.ca/Pages/RDOS-Survey.html
For those of you who filled out the survey, you did an outstanding job DSBC and BCORMA are now at the table representing off road motorcycles, at least we have someone there now. Up till last week the master plan would have excluded all motorised user groups input. Im sure I dont have to tell you what that means.

What we need to do now (when I say now I mean now, the sooner the better) and when I say we I mean you

Compile all your gps tracks that you have that are inside the RDOS map http://maps.google.ca/maps/ms?msa=0&...da9c6e7e83ac94

I will be posting later to give you the details on how and where to send them
The tracks will become property of BCORMA, not Cascade Environmental or the BC Government, we have a agreement in place. I know you dont want to give up you private riding area details, well if you dont share them with BCORMA now you probably will loose access to them later.

I am hoping that we will have a good response as we need as much information as we can get our hands on. I know that lots of you ride with a GPS so there should be lots of information floating out there.

If you have some tracks that you intend on sending please post here that you have tracks and are waiting for the information of where to send them

its going to be pretty slim pickings with only two people with some gps data. The cyclists have volumes of data and Im sure most of them are (where) motorised trails, oh well some is better than nothing.

Please send your gps data to make sure its only for the area within the RDOS
