Great vids and pics! Surprised to see myself pass by in the OWD video

Working on fixing my computer right now and as soon as its done, I'll throw a vid or two up myself.

    OneWheelDrive that was great!
I think I'm going to throw away my go pro camera after watching this!
you have done a top notch production, and I will have to go to camera school,
    editing and production classes!
All fooling aside, this is a great review of the ride! thank you for the all the work you put into this production...

    Randual,
Thanks! Don't throw the GoPro away, it's as valuable a camera as the others. I've the advantage of having worked as a storyboard artist in animation years back (Batman, Pinky and the Brain, Earthworm Jim) so get to trot out those chops when I sit down to edit. No classes needed, just watch lots of saturday morning TV.

    2012 Orca Run

So Mrs. Riskman took pity on me and assisted with posting pics.

What, too embarassed to park the bikes in the tent?

Anyone see who put pretty streamers on my bike? Kiwi???

    Suspicious looking characters.......

    First view point......Cowichan Valley

That's an odd place to carry a gas can..........

Don't get off the bike........that's what you brought us for.

Lois Lake.........I thought there was a coffee stop here........

Oh, the latest Serious Coffee franchise.........exclusive clientele calls for an exclusive location.

Lunch stop on San Juan Ridge

    another nicely accessorized BMW

    Pete's Pond riders' lounge..............next year.

+1 to that. That was a great summary of the event. Thank you for taking the time to take the vids and produce a great movie.

    Cheers,

Onewheeldrive......GREAT video.....even though that dork in the orange jacket with the flip up helmet slowed everything down.... (he says as he goes helmet shopping)

    Can't wait to ride again.

Thanks OWD for the great video, makes me want to take tomorrow off and go riding

I missed this years ride, but as usual the Island Riders provided another show stopper of an event.

I am going to post this video up (with permission of course) for the BCROMA Directors so they can see how we DS riders do an event

Hopefully the video does the ride justice. A big thanks to all the riders who participated and the organizers.

I second that! It was my first OR and I had a great time... beautiful riding and great people!

I have to thank Glenn, Dave, Cord and Jim for taking such good care of me and the DR... especially to Glenn for the wheeling me around and for Jim for not parting out my bike...

now to google this 'no work zone' you speak of.....

Here's another movie with some stills & vids. (http://youtu.be/0XIc4ZOuKl4) Sorry 'bout the helmet cam vid being aimed too low (first time using a GoPro), and the other vids being so shaky; got to get me some sort of steady-cam. The movie looks best at 720p. If anyone wants a hi-res copy of any of the stills, or vids PM me and hopefully we can arrange some sort of transfer (still trying to get some stills to one of the participants of last year's run, lol)

I have a question who do I contact to get copies of the videos that were playing the evening before the ride?
Without a little craziness, life would be very boring indeed!

On an unrelated note, if anybody driving a nissan of some sort is missing some sort of sensor, I found it. It looks like some kind of magnetic pickup with about a 16" wire, stamped with nissan. I found it in the dirt area by the sawmill.

PM me if you need it.
