Old Guys on New Dirt Bikes

Came across this link and thought a couple of the other old guys I ride with would get a chuckle out of someone doing a documentary about old guys on dirt bikes.

Hey Tom, thanks for that great video, I really got a kick outa it. I wasn't too impressed with that guy who was talking about really old guys, big time old, like 70 old. Shoot! 70 ain't really old, maybe 80 or 90, but not 70. That guy didn't know what he was talking about. All the other guys were right on, though. Yep, a great video. Many thanks.

Yeah, What he said...... OLD is at least 20 years down the pipe from YOUR vantage point! Have ya noticed how FAST 20 years can fly by ?

Hey Jay, the older you get the closer the definition of old gets to you. For a young guy like yourself old might be 20 yrs down the pipe but for me it's dropped to 10 yrs and I can tell you that the older you get the faster time flies. I retired 12 yrs ago but it seems like it was only a year or two. But who cares, as long as ya can keep riding, that's the main thing. Ride to live and live to ride says it all.

I like it! We should all be so lucky to have the attitude of those guys. Some skills to match wouldn't hurt either.

It would be cool to see the whole documentary. We could get some beers and a bunch of old guys together to tell lies and stories.

    Thanks Tom.

That was a good watch. As a late 30's guy it really drives home the importance of looking after yourself. Really respect the older guys that keep at it!

Thanks for posting, I'm one of the guys that helped put this video together. Both riders are part of the Bytown Motorcycle Association and this was filmed last September in Calabogie and Limerick forest in Eastern Ontario.

It was a lot of fun, please share with other like minded individuals. It's a doc that most older guys can relate to.

After becoming tired of watching 20 year olds do double backflips - we were looking for something truly inspiring and found Paul and Larry!

    Thanks,
    Dallas

PS: I can't wait to share the 2nd post in this thread about the "guy who doesn't know what he's talking about". LOL He is one of our regular riding buddies and he RARELY knows what he's talking about.

That was a fantastic video, I really enjoyed it. I salute those well-seasoned riders who show us "young folks (40 yr olds)" how it's done. I've learned a lot of tricks from them and i appreciate every one of em.
