Vancouver to Lilloet - Tomorrow 8 May

I know this is last minute notice but if anyone wants to ride tomorrow....

I'm heading up on the Sea to Sky on Tuesday on my KLR. Meeting a round the world traveller, Noah, in Whistler at 10.30am. His ADV report is here.

From there we head up through Pemberton, Seton Portage around Carpenter lake to Lilooet. Will head up to Pavilion and camp Tuesday night at Marble Canyon. We split up on Wednesday and Noah heads to Alaska. I'll head back to Vancouver on the Duffy lake road. If someone else joins me I'll take the West Harison home - otherwise solo on the Sea to Sky. Should be a good 2 day riding.

Met up with Noah who is doing a round the world ride over 2 years. He is 1 month into his trip.

We met up at the hostel in Whistler and drove up through Darcy and Seton Portage past Carpenter lake over the high road to Lillooet for lunch at the Reynolds Hotel. We then rode up to camp at a beautiful high lookout over the Big Bar Ferry

Noah was up at 2 am taking photo's of the moon (he may have even been howling at it?)
The next morning we crossed the Big bar ferry - only two of us and the operator, and headed high over a 5000' range through snow to Clinton for brunch. After we filled up we split up - with Noah heading north for Prince George and me heading back to Vancouver. I logged 840 km over 2 days. My KLR went well. The rear tire is now bald

Check more photos and video clips of the ride HERE

Noah is now 12000 km into his trip. He has a very modified 690. He took a brand new bike and re-built it for this trip (the bike has 3 gas tanks). His full ride report is at http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=781893
He also has a blog at Rtwwithnoah.blogspot.com
