    trials riding in cumberland/courtney

hey all, I am going to be up in cumberland at the end of the month to do some MTB. I understand that the trials guys and the MTB guys build and ride the same trails. So I figured I would take my trials bike too, and ride it during the weekday so as not to bump into as weekend MTB riders. I saw a video and it looks real nice, but cant find it now. Which trails would be best for easy cross country (I'll be tired from the MTB and wont want to work too hard).

    thanks!

Hey gang, I wont be able to make the Sunday Trials meeting (I will be up in CR), but would like to putter around on the trials trails on Monday. Can you give me a starting point and then I'll just do a little exploring? I'm interested in the easier stuff as I'll probably be pretty pooped after 3 days of DS, MTB and enduro. Living on vitamin I!!

    thanks!

Alright well I found out where to go. On the forbidden plateau side, basically over the dam then find a trail and start riding. One day we rode the MTB trails there - it'd be fun on a trials bike. Too bad the flu kept me from giving it a go. Maybe next time.

For other who would like to get a map - grab the map at the bicycle shop Dodge city cycles. It'll show where the area is located.
