Canada Day Long W/E 2012 - Spences Bridge

A handful of us (you know who we are) will be heading up the canyon for a weekend of riding & trail clearing our Dead Zone trail network.

Arriving as schedules permit on Thursday & Friday afternoon, riding B, B+ & A trails on Friday, Saturday & Sunday (probably Monday too), all based from the Acacia Campground.

Several non-riding spouses will be there too; enjoying the camping & area activities while we're playing in the woods.

If you wish to join us, and have a current BCtrailpass, then you are welcome. Call Ray & Sarah directly to book a campsite. I might have a couple of beds available in the cabins; PM or call me.

    Mark

    That's my favorite bus too.
I've got bus fare if there are any spots left.

Now I'm getting excited! Camper is packed, got all but the kitchen sink in there. Lots of water, some beer, food, and most important the bikes. Should be pullin out at around 5o am.

I went to the zoo the other day. The only animal there was a dog. For sure it was a Shitzoo.

I want to thank everyone for the great company and support this weekend. Could have ended better for me but sh$t happens! Still had a great time.

A huge thanks to all the riders that took turns hiking, shuttling and manhandling the BRP out of the centre of the DeadZone, you guys are awesome!!! An X-ray at Kelowna General yesterday confirmed a spiral fracture of the 5th meta-carpal, temporary cast on until end of the long weekend. The great job Dan, John, Scott did on the field splinting might save me getting any pins, thanks you guys! The Old Mil from Steve for my hike out on the trail ... priceless.

Looking forward (optimistically) to the LooseScrew,

    Mike
