    The new WR

538569_10151856634630615_1161576390_n.jpg Picked up this '08 WR450 the other day. IS it ever a blast! Haven't had it offroad yet just on the wet pavement. Any things I should look out for on this thing?
Can you get a quiet exhaust for them!?

stock is usually pretty quiet? fmf Q series is probably the best for low noise in the after market.

Why not try re wrapping your stock pipe with new muffler packing and make sure all the factory baffles and end cap is free of emission obstructions so it breathes and runs better..congrats on the new bike- I dig those WRs-may get another plated one soon...

I thought stock was also pretty quiet cactus but this thing isn't. I don't know what the previous owner did to it to make it so loud and I couldn't ask him since he was working in Alberta and I had to give his mother the funds that didn't know much about it

There is probably a forum dedicated to those bikes. Someone may have a stock (& unmodified) muffler they don't want anymore and are selling (cheap).
