    Squamish ride FRIDAY July 6th

On friday i want to go dirtbiking in Squamish. I've never been up there before and want to know who wants to go hit some good trails? I'm a "B" rider, but can handle some "A" and some forestry trails. Cheers

Behind the chief (Mamquam FSR) there are oodles of offshoots, and there's some single track trails courtesy of BCORMA off the powerline, which lead to crazy rooty mountain bike madness. The ring creek rip is great fun (brings u out by the university), and there are more trails off the Ring Creek FSR. Should also check out Cat Lake, as there are some great trails up towards Brohm ridge, although its highly likely you'll be stopped by snow before you get to the top/ridge.

Thanks, someone at the campsite just told me to go to the Yamaha store and buy a map of the trails. I'll try and find the trails you told me about and hope I can find my way back. Cheers

    Britannia Mine area

I was up in behind Britannia yesterday. There's a bunch of roads up there too. Turn in off the highway at the mine and ride up past the fire station. Keep riding up the paved twisty road past the housing developments. It eventually turns into gravel and a gate. Ride around the gate. The first right at the top will get you back towards Furry Creek. The left goes for quite a ways with many off shoots.
