Thanks John for the wet ride today. My riding gear is rated "rain proof for one hour" i made two before my shorts got wet, still was great to get out.
Thanks John

Nice picture of us "cats"!
Sure was wet, but we don't mind a little water from time to time.

Hay John or Ted, Would you have a GPS track of your trip?
Ron
You're welcome Rick, sorry the weather couldn't have been nicer. I was soaked through after about an hour but it was warm so it wasn't so bad. My big beef with riding in the rain is not being able to see the trail well enough to read it. I'd taken my goggles off to see better and then we hit that mile or so section of face slappers which I rode without eye protection - wasn't fussy about that at all.

Hi Ron,
We didn't go to the Alexandria Bridge because it was raining and we weren't too enthusiastic about riding 50 miles in the rain just to start our dirt ride. We went to Mt Woodside instead. Woodside is about 5 miles west of Agassiz.
I can send you the GPS track of our Woodside ride if you want, and I can also send you the GPS track of our intended ride yesterday. Over 3/4 of the intended Alexandria Bridge track is "as ridden". I can also send you an "as ridden" GPS track from Boston Bar to Princeton.
Lemme know whatcha want.

We sure did have as much fun as you guys, Tom, we always do. That's a great pic of Neal, I haven't seen his ears prick up like that since setting up for the endurocross at the bike show. Here's a video of yours truly crossing a narrow bridge over a nasty creek. Note how careful I am to pick the line with the best traction, always avoiding water which could cause unexpected wheel spin.
