July 13 to 15 Big(ish) bike ride suggestion??
I have a window to get away this weekend while my wife is out of town and the weather looks splitter. I would please love a suggestion of a possible ride and am looking to the group for advice (and of course the invitation for others to join) I live in Squamish, ride a BMW f800gs with proper off road tires, crash guards etcand am keen to cover alot of ground. I would love to find a route that is as much dirt as possible, not super technical as I am still figuring this beast out (but not super tame either) and hope to quite work a bit early on Friday and start heading out, maybe as far as Lillouette or over the Hurley Fri eve. Thanks in advance for the help. mark@kerschbaumer.ca

Hi Mark
Have a look at the thread i started earlier today, we will be meeting in lilloete at 9 on saterday, we will be camping on saterday night probably at Farwell canyon, so need a fartsack and some grub unless yer super tough and can capture yer own.
The ride will pretty casual but both days most all easy dirt roads and a little fiddling over Poison mtn
People have to return to vancouver on sunday evening for work monday tho.
Maybe that works for you?

Wow, most kind and would love to join. Anything I should know to bring (ie extra gas) ? I too work again Monday so length and itinerary sound perfect. See you then!

Thiers gas at lilloette then clinton on the return if we need it.
We're on klr's and have siphon hose if we realy get pinched. i don't think we are too far off 400 km max for the first leg, gas to gas.

Ooops, I s'plain, Risky creek and williams lake are within reach of farwell canyon so you'l only be at about 230 kms in a stretch for gas, not 400. so surry
