Going to be camping and exploring Harrison east in a few weeks.. Will have some young kids on 50's and 70's at the campsite.. I was wondering how far down the main rd I would have to take them in the truck before we would come to an area for them to do some circles for an hour or so? From Bear Creek Im okay driving 20km or so?? Or is there a spur road to take them up near buy?? Thanks for any help!
You guys are up there all the time? No one can help with a good little area to take the future 2 wheelers to on that side of the lake??

I drive that route once a year at least, but I just drive through. But if I remember right, and some-one please correct me if I am wrong. Past the logging camp on the lake there is a big open area with a sand cliff on the west of it.
Lot's of people camp along the lake on the east Harrison road and don't see there being anything safe until you go past that camp.

Looking at the map, I guess it's past Silver River. But I am hoping that some-one who knows exactly were it is, posts.
The logging camp is about 7 km north of the Bear Creek rec site and the area Rick is talking about is about 1 km past that. There is quite a big open area around the logging camp and you should be able to find enough room around there to let the kids have a run.Originally Posted by GTXR
