Last Minute Trip - Vernon to the Kootenays without touching pavement

This is pretty last minute, I'm going solo but would welcome company. My goal is to ride from Vernon to Hills (North of New Denver) without touching pavement except to get gas and cross the ferry. Not 100% sure if the route will work, but on my map (and in my head) it does. It will definitely be an adventure. The plan is out to Cherryville, then over through Keefer lake and down to Whatshan lake. Cross the ferry, down to Applegrove, over the powerline, UP Koch creek and over the top to Burton (might be tough going), then from Burton go up through Hailstorm ridge to Shannon Creek and down to Hills. From Hills I plan on heading to New Denver, up through Sandon and Cody, over Reco pass to Retallack, then maybe on to Kaslo, Trout Lake (and Silvercup ridge), out to the Arrow lakes, then eventually make it back to Vernon. Planning on leaving Saturday morning and returning Monday, camping along the way. This ride is probably not big bike friendly. I'm on a Husaberg FE390, other lightweight dualsports would be a welcome companion. I'm a good rider, but welcome riders of all skill levels. Only rule is no whining (and don't worry, I don't mind helping when the going gets tough). PM me if you'd like to join. Also open to route suggestions!
