P.S. Can we bring our Trials Bikes Too !!!
OUCH!!!!
Of course bring your Trials bikes! You will need to truck them a few K up the road where there are countless trails starting on Kapoor Hill. It's where we do most of our trail riding as you know!
Check the Poster occasionallyfor updates.

How about a nice FZ1 ? I'll bet you can mount TKC80's on it!
Umm, guess I shoulda booked thetwo days at the campsite(A tent space is all I'll need) in the same post that I signed up on. I plan on arriving Friday and heading for home on Sunday. Sorry for the slip-up, hope there are still spots available.
No problem, lots of room. We're only getting started.
If SunnyDaze fills to capacity there is an undeveloped forestry park with a large camping area back just a few K at Burnt Bridge.
Also some big overflow lots along the logging road.

That said I don't think we will be able to reserve individual sites. We hope toget 50+ to commit/show up so we can reserve to entire camp for DSBC, that would be Sooooo Sweet !!

Not sure about camping yet, depends on what other activities the family has happening on those dates.
If you need any help let me know,
Dave
Count both me and my wife in, we will be camping.
I'm in.
I am in!
Not camping though.
Julius and I visited Sunny Daze today and were very impressed by the friendly owners and the large site.
We got a full tour and took pictures which will be uploaded shortly.
Is 10 acres along the river enough room for us??
We reserved the entire campsite so bring your riding buddies!
I'm in.
Claude and Tracy are in
Map to camp
Notice on the map a small Coffee Shop in Shawnigan Lake Village.
We stopped there for lunch today to check it out. .
If you need yourCaffeine fix .. this is the place!
It's a bakery too and had awesome soup and other 'goodies'..
Geralds Elford Farms Pastries 2769 Shawnigan Lake Rd
I'm in....the wife might tag along too just for the camping.
Is there a lake nearby she can swim in? She has a wetsuit...I know It'll still be chilly. What about paved roads? Any good for her to go for a long trip on her pedalbike?
Woohooo.
You can swim in the river and it will be cold. Some of the best swimming holes on southern Vancouver Island are here. Two k back down the road at Koksilah Provincal park.
A popular paved bicycle route is around Shawnigan Lake which will take hours.
And there is the Trans Canada Trail for easy gravel riding with the spactacular Kinsol trestle nearby.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsol_Trestle
Completed in 1920, its dimensions measure 145 ft high and 614 ft long, making it the largest wooden trestle in the Commonwealth of Nations and one of the highest railway trestles in the world.
