I'm having lotsa fun prepping for this one.... Went down Island with the bike yesterday and on the way back my rocker cover started to leak pretty bad... So when I got home I popped it apart and resealed it, adjusted the valves and changed oil. It was close to midnight when I started getting things back together untill I noticed the left fairing mounting bracket was broken, then I just went to bed.... After work today I fabricated a new bracket and continued assembly and am now just mounting the tires I was supposed to get done last night.... Oh yeah, just got word that my son broke his foot in a swimming pool accident on his school field trip to Victoria....

So far so good for Saturday....

Hey, if you know of a way to get to Ushuia in 1 week...we are in!!!



We are thinking of relaxing in Penticton on Monday & just floating down the river channel. Tues we would like to head over towards Christina lake as we know of a great little road called the "old cascade hwy" that is nothing more than a goat track now but really a cool little road. Then we want to hit some hot springs in that area & maybe try the Grey creek road if it is open. On the way back we could see if we can hit the KVR for some really neet stuff.

We are open to suggestions!!

Well the KLR is Rally Ready. Would have liked new tires, but it's a little early.

Excellent - David, the KTM is really to roll. I like to here that you found the problems earlier than later.

I'll make my final decession tomorrow if I can make the trip. I'll talk to over with my co- workers.

Took the bike for a test spin tonight and my repair job seems to be holding the oil in... Right now I'm in the middle of packing the gear onto the bike.....
