Can we still go up to the bike shop and go thru Chris, or do we have to send it? I was gonna take a trip up to SpoolmaK here one of these days.
I didn't do it, you didn't see me do it, and you can't prove a thing!

I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind if you dropped off your entry form with him.

The B is looking to be a long, long day.Very littleof it is particularly technical but it is 300km and much of it is on old dirt two-track that requires constant attention. During August heat, this will be a grueling run requiring some fitness and lots of water.

    • Experienced, fast riders who know the routemay finish in6-7hours.
    • Experienced, fast riders who don't know the route could add 1 - 2hours to that.
    • Less experienced riders can expect to be out there for 8 - 12 hours
Having said that, we are pretty excited about the B. It goes through a lot of varied terrain and should have some spectacular scenery.

We will have a lot of 'outs' marked on the routesheet during the second half of the day so you can find your way home if it is getting late. And we will have some 'ins' marked as well for those who aren't quite nackered yet.

Thanks anyways, we owe you guys , for putting on the ride. I like you may have some bailouts on the B route, for the last half of the day, good plan. Yeh, that was me on the X year one, we got lost within 10 km of the start. A bunch of us were on top of a ridge looking down towards the camp. I took a chance on a pretty steep hill down to the road below.
