Its going to be a good group for the Flat Tire Social for Sunday, somewhere around 40+ according to the PM's sent

You can start showing up around 9 ish

We have some room for anyone who wants to try to do there own bike tire.

Weather is iffy at the moment but we are going to be inside so who cares.

After the event Western Powersports is hosting the BBQ and will be opening the Accessory department so any of you can take advantage of the Tire Sale.

    See you for coffee tomorrow

    Hi Tom

Just so I have this right, we are just watching tires being changed. Or is everyone changing their tires for practise?

    Thanks

    Rick

I'd say DSBC's version of Bridge Night.

If you want to bring your wheel and new tire down and have someone (hopefully with experiance) watch you bust your knuckles, then tell you what you are doing wrong. You are welcome to bring it on.

    Remember to bring your tools

I know I learned a heck of a lot, got a set of tire irons and a patch kit out of it too =3

I'm wet... And cold... And the bike doesn't need a bath now... But I did make it home safely.

Thanks Tom for all the info.

A big thank-you to Tom, Marq, Roland and all those responsible for putting this together!! Learned some valuable tips on technique and tools needed. Should make life easier for the next tire change! Hope those that rode made it home safe.

On the internet you can be anything you want . . . . . It's strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

    Hello Sue and Al,

Funny, I look at your avatars, and I don't remember seeing you guys there....

Superb video (in spite of the cameo of the dude with the funny white DRZ and the surgical gloves - what's that about ... :P)

Seriously - wonderful time, wonderful learning experience - and thanks for posting the video. Tom and Roland - thanks for a superb event.

    Cheers,

    Daniel (aka noob-with-white-bike-and-matching-gloves)

I think so, I was the one on the XT350, in the red riding jacket (the one complaining about the snow lol)

Anybody find a Moose fender bag lying about?

Kinda dirty, had a 21" tube, 3 crappy tire irons, a bashed up, half empty can of WD40, patch kit, bike pump.....

AND A COUPLE OF BRAND NEW MOTION PROS!

This was when I discovered my old ones were crappy.

Likely between the work shop/ tire shop and the front parking lot, but also possible in the parts dept....

    Please pm me

    Oh yeah.

What a blast, watching TT pretend to having an easy time!

Saw a lot of new faces, and BS'd with lots of those not so new.

Great event. Thanks Marq and Roland from Western and all who showed up and made it an event.
