    in my myriad of travels,this is in front of my hotel room this summer.as a bodyman i'de say on a direct frontal or rear ender it would help.but it would freak me out man clicking that belt on.wiper in the vancouver rain would be ok though.what thinks you?grotox....road dog of el norte,barkin'down yer tailpipe,move over or speed up

    Looks like it'd be real exciting to ride that thing in a strong side wind.
    A motorcycle will go anywhere the rider has the ability to take it.

    It's the BMW C-1. It's basically a two wheeled car. You do up the seat belt and go, no helmet needed. They are designed to take a hit. When the single cylinder 650s were just coming out, ~2001, the dealers got to play with them in europe. One canuck went into a round-about wrong and was broad sided by a delivery van. After he stopped sliding he unclipped and climbed out in one piece! Try that in a scooter.

    They came with either a 175cc or 225cc EFI motor if I remember, had ABS brakes, wipers, luggage, etc. The passenger, if you had one, sat on the back facing traffic!

    North america couldn't decide what to do with it. Was it a car with two wheels, no helmet, or a bike that crashed very well... So they never imported it. Maybe they should look at it again.
