Yes I am very fortunate, you could spend a month checking out all the places to go. Everytime we met a local , they told us of more great rides to do,I may go back next year again.

Hey Ron, I met Dwight Harris in Phoenix and we rode 4 days, now we have to go back next year to see the really good stuff! Just to make you feel better it is raining here this week, so there won't be any dust on our rides, and the desert bloom will happen in about a month. You got to plan to join us next year. cheers, Steve

black canyon city is 30 miles north of the 101 loop, the major highway on the north side of Phoenix/Scottsdale. I have also stayed closer to the big city, and get to the dirt at Cave Creek. It's all good!

Hey Steve, are you being affected by any of the heavy rains and flooding in the southwest?

Hi Ted, looks like California is getting hammered, but only 2 days of rain last week in our area. It was great for riding, no dust. I am now sitting in Missouri for the holidays, back in AZ in Jan. We will be riding a new area in mid Jan. so I hope to send you some pics. Borrego springs got a lot of rain, and more expected, but I won't be there for a month. Happy Holidays to all you fellow riders. Steve

I believe it all depends on the weather. If we get warmer than normal temps. at night in Jan. and nice daytime heat, it could happen. I hope so for you guys, it is fun to ride around in acres of colour.
