    1. Thx Wayne. I'm recovered nicely but the bike is in the shop for some 'periodic maintenance'.
    2. While looking for our own truck I found your compound. Some guy was gumming out front when I asked for you... I think you might have been in the circle-jerk... Then I rememberedi had the car keys and continued on my quest. Must have been a good bell-ringer as I was more disoriented than usual.
    3. Great ride report; doing us proud with the turn-signal. I trust that you honked your horn at the hecklers?

    and slowpokes.

"circle jerk"? I'm hoping that's slang for, a bunch of guysin lawn chairs circled round an imaginary fire swilling beer. swill burp fart repeat.

now that the results are out, it would seem that the whole Kamloops gang overall did pretty darn respectable, couple of firsts (one for over 70) 3+4th (over 60),about 7 guys from 11th place thru bout 40th in the over 50, and winners in the 250class.
I went to the zoo the other day. The only animal there was a dog. For sure it was a Shitzoo.

The winner of the poker run, who, in all honesty could legitimatly have just walked around, had 5 aces (wtf) for which he won a trophy that was 20 feet tall, er, an honest 4ft., they continued to give away booty, forever. A great dusty bumpy rocky fun day.

5 Aces, that's pretty "Lucky", sounds to me like he had some friends at the checkpoints

Wow, you Kamloops guys are hard core, that's some pretty impressive showing

I thought that I was doing good to just make it around twice, never mind in a race

Decompression cable and BRP chainguide are on order. Once the guide is in then I'll look at getting the bracket re-welded. Hope everything is ready for the Orca...

If you get 5 'cards' each time you lap the course, and it was certainly reasonable to do two laps - possible to do 3-5... then receiving 5 aces out of 10-25 dealt is not suspicious at all.

Those Stumpjumpers ran a first-class event with an army of volunteers.

They wouldn't punch mine after 5 draws - they said that we only got five regardless of how many checkpoints we stopped at. I agree it was an awesome event, though. Definitely on my annual list!
