Is there any sort of event going on in the North of BC this year? 2 of us are planning a trip somewhere, but loose screw & dead zone are too far south. Ride for SIght or something?

There is this event planned so far. If this doesn't work with your schedule or just not interested, post up your dates of interest. There is enough riders around that can muster up a ride to keep you entertained. There may be a QCI trip in the works also, so stay tuned as the season develops.

BTW, I'm planning a trip to your neck of the woods. If you have info on some deviances worth checking let me know please.
Like sparklr said, if those days do not work for you just let us know what days you are planning to be here. If you want to ride in my neck of the woods (Hazelton to Burns) I would be more then happy to set you up with some loop's and even get out with you if my schedule permits.

Hopefully that KLR is the older "able" type. If its the new generation, I have a buddy with a Rocket III who can show you around.
The KLR is a 2008, so far it has been "able" and capable of taking me everywhere that I dare it to go. She does nap on her side once in a while though!
My plan so far is late July or early August. I'll fill in the blanks once I'm set to depart.
Does a Rocket III really like dirt?
I can vouch for Sparklr in that he has taken his '08 into places that I would not venture with mine. We did a greasy single track with me on the KLX, KLRnorth on his DRZ and Sparklr on the pig.
One funny incident I recall is a very nasty powerline trail that had recently been cleared. Sparklr had ridden the one hill and I ended up launching the KLX off the trail and into the bush. Thankfully no pictures.
