    BC Big Trailie Event - June 18, 19, 20

Is anyone from Prince George going to the BC Big Trailie Event this year? It will start out in Nakusp and wind through some of the most spectacular country in BC. By all accounts, the event has been great every year. This is the 5th season. You can learn more about the event at the following link:

    Hope to see you there.

Hey there Zeitgeist, I'm interested in putting this on my "possible" ride list for 2011. A fellow PG rider (Matt) with a KLR went this year and said it was an awesome event so I'd like to check it out if my work/home schedule permits.

I went to the Horizon's Unlimited event in Nakusp this past August and had a super time. There were 6 of us in the crew with a mix of KLR's and Wee Stroms.

I have my Wee set up for touring, bought it last year and put on 12 000kms, not much for dirt though as I need more time off road to improve my skills.

To faciliate that wish I purchased a '96 DR350 this past October (had to put it in hibernation before I could ride it). I've purchased some farkles to make it multi day road trip ready. I'd like to get a bunch of practice time in around the PG area so I'll be checking back on this web site once the season starts to see about riding with folks and getting some dirt experience.

    Have a great holiday.

2Trider and I head to my cabin at Fraser Lake often enough for some weekend rides. Usually we have a spring opener. Generally FSR with 2 track and some single track riding. Basically just exploring the area wherever the KLR will let us go. Last year we managed a route to Fort St. James and will probably explore more around the Stuart Lake area with the cabin being home base. You're welcome to join us anytime. Will give you a heads up when the first venture commences. The NxNW section has more ride info.

I signed up, but I may not take the Orange beast on it. I have ridden #3 and #5 and it is a great time for anyone that hasn't gone before.
