I have not looked at the gps yet. All I have is the route up to where we parked and I might have a ping from on the top of that stump at the tree line and did I mention I am a dumb welder and have no idea how to send jack ---- online. Sorry. Thanks to all for a good day! And Tom, I need a stickeer for my helmit.

Heard from a Quading friend of mine this morning, He said when the logging is finnish in the Norrish creek area that the logging companies are to remove all the bridges and return the road beds to their natural slope. Seems like a lot of work . I don't know the origin of this information.

You know, looking at the gps and google earth it looks like there was a bridge at the bottom of the logging clearing conecting to the other side. The old grouth on the other side would be easier and there is better drainage on that slope above. The only way to tell is spend a afternoon in the bottom of that gully. Man thats nasty terrain.

Here is my best guess at progress on the NW Connector (One Lung's Revenge).

White lines are actual gps tracks. Yellow line is the approximate results of Monday's work. Red line is existing grade through the clearcut.

The yellow line needs some work to approach the red line grade at a better angle. It is a great downhill but won't be many riding up other than with a trials bike. Lots of clearing to do on the Statlu side but all in all great progress and proof that a connection is possible, we did it.......otg
