Haven't heard anything about it being closed but judging by the weather forecast you could run into a snow squall at higher elevations. Saw some fresh white on the peaks in Kokanee Park the other day and it's not getting any warmer nor drier.

Thanks. We have accommodation booked at Skookumchuk so if it gets too snowy, we will just have to take the long way around.

Take a good east at the mountains while you're on the ferry. Or ask around on the ferry or one of the stores in Crawford Bay / Gray Creek for the latest pass info, then make your route choice. Have a great ride.

If you're travelling west to east it's not much of a ride to the summit (13km or so), so you'll know real soon if it's open, with a quick try. East to west is a little different and you can waste better part of the day if you get turned back.

Just got back from my 4 day trip around the Kootenays (beautiful country!) and my ride over Grey Creek Pass.
    It was excellent!
