Got my mount and power adapter from BC GPS store. No problems. Price was competitive, shipped Canada Post (which works best to here). So just the one experience = positive.

I live 5 minutes from that store and bought my GPS and accessories from GPS Central in Calgary. The people in Winfield are rude and treat you like they wished you never walked in the door. Not just me either, my friend went there to buy one for me and they were so rude he ordered from MEC. I don't usually have anything bad to say about a retailer but these guys take the cake.

Next time I drive through Windfield I will stop in there. See what kind of service I get and post back.
Maybe they will be watching this thread and I will get AWSOME service (and everyone else also)

    And I won't even buy anything ;o)
My life has a superb cast, but I can't figure out the plot...

I have delt with G. P.S. store in Question on at least four ocasions. My experiances have varied a lot depending who I delt with, the lady that I belive is the owner comes across as not having any sense of humor at all, the fellow I delt with on at least one ocasion was fine and the yong ladie who served me last week was great.

I have dealt with the BC GPS store in Lake Country numerous times.
The owner has gone gone out of her way to help me get what I wanted.

That being said, I have also dealt with GPS Central in Calgary (before the shop in Lake Country opened) with no problems.

I recently had a decent experience with them. In fact, I called them to see if they would come close to price matching something I found on Amazon.com as I prefer to keep my biz in Canada when possible. They came close enough to the price for me and the product was shipped to my place in Vancouver quicker than expected. I have not used the product yet so can't comment on any other customer service related bits.

I'm glad to see positive responses here. It's not often I would give a negative review of a place but my experiences had in the past been unfriendly. It's a bummer because it's a nice little store with pretty much everything you need right here in Lake Country. They had RAM mounts and cables in stock, maps, etc... I recommend giving them another try. It's just electronics anyway.

I am going to give another shout out to gpscentral.ca. I ordered a Garmin 60CSx and accessories yesterday and it shipped today. Will be here in 2 days and excellent customer service.

They have also committed to sponsoring the Loose Screw again this year, the 2nd year in a row. Like stated before, try are a DSBC sponsor and without companies like them, this forum may cease to exist.
