    KTM 950 TDC Locking Bolt

    Hi Guys,

I just did the valve check on my 950SM and didn't have the patience to order the crank locking tool. I looked up the specs for this bolt on ADVrider then went in search of an M8 bolt 80mm long with no luck. I ended up buying a threaded rod but all Fastenal had was a one meter long rod. It was only a couple of bucks though so I grabbed it and then went to crappy tire to get some M8 nuts to build my own locking bolt/tool. Worked like a charm.

So here is the deal. I obviously still have enough rod left over to make about 8 more of these bolts. So if you are local and want one shoot me a pm and i'll make one up for you and you can buy me a cup of coffee for my efforts. If you are not local PM me to see what we can work out.

    Cheers.

You know I never got any replies to my offer, the economy must be worse than I thought when nobody will even go for free stuff.

Hmm, where you are planning to stick the second one. Come to think of it, not too sure I want to know. But 2 will cost you a coffee and a donut.
