Galfer Stainless Brake Lines
I have purchased a set of Galfer Stainless Brake Lines and am about to install them on My DRZ 400 S. Does anyone have any advice on how to Install and bleed them. Installation is the easy part but i'd like to know if there is any particular way to install them to make the bleeding easier.

After you have replaced the lines using new copper washers,go to Lordco and get about 3 feet of clear line like the overflow line on your carb. make sure it's a snug fit on the bleed nipple, open the master resivior and crack the bleeder. Suck on the hose and draw fluid and air up the tube until there is no more air bubbles appearing in the tube. careful to keep adding fluid to the master as you draw the air and old fluid out. tighten the bleeder, don't over tighten they strip easy.
most of the air should be out now. leave the hose on the nipple with the fluid in it, pump the lever several times and then hold while you crack and re snug the bleeder, then release the lever. repeat until no air bubbles are seen in the tube and the brakes should feel firm. replace resivoir cover.

You can also go to Pharmasave buy a big syringe and some tubing to slip over the bleeder screw and back bleed it.
