    merritt-boston bar

new route (to me) starting from Merritt head out toward Spences Bridge take petit creek fsr turns into prospect follow rd to 24 km stay straight here on teepee creek follow all the way up to prospect-nicoamen fsr (rd turns back into prospect? the break thru must of happened last fall) to hwy 1 to Boston Bar then to uztilius fsr just south of Boston Bar to spius fsr to coldwater rd to Merritt. (i should mention that I did not do the Uztilius fsr today I run out of time so not sure about the snow conditions) I was going to cabin lake but could not make it in cause of the snow.

I went thru here a couple times a couple years ago and it was really overgrown in the creek (runoff) part you are referring to. It would be interesting to know if it is still passable might just have to check...

Last weekend snowline on the Spius road (coming up from Boston Bar) was at 1400 m. Not passable then.

    Good luck!

Your saying that Prospect Creek rd joins up with the Nicoamen River Fsr? It doesn't connect on any of my maps.
